Lexy first came to the Iowa studio with her sister Clarrissa in Jan 2018. Walking past in the snow they saw a class poster and hiked up 3 flights of stairs and asked to join Rebecca's class. They have been coming ever since. The girls were poor and unable to pay tuition. Their elderly father eagerly offered to do work in trade for their classes. He happily hiked up the 3 flights of stairs to do carpentry in support of Rebecca's teaching and her Arts studio.
